Pandayan in Central Luzon
August 27, 2016
The Crispin B. Beltran Resource Center organized a festival featuring educational discussions in Central Luzon. This is part of CBBRC’s advocacy to help build skills in workers. In coordination with various regional groups, CBBRC hoped that Pandayan will provide the target audience with needed skills to analyze different issues.
According to Helen Simplina, CBBRC Executive Director, Pandayan was conceptualized to strengthen the union of workers in economic processing zones (EPZs). “Which is why the first leg of Pandayan was done in Pampanga, a known home to EPZs,” Simplina explained.
Pandayan reached more than 300 participants.
